Those of us who worked for Disney, especially its Theme Parks, Resorts and Disney Stores, have long been asking one question whenever Cast Member get together, "You remember the kid who worked with us that summer? I wonder what happened to them...?"
Since July 17th 1955 when Walt Disney opened his first Theme Park in Anaheim, the magic that started with that Mouse has been kept alive by generations of Cast Members.

This site is a community for those same Cast Members to get together and find old friends once more and maybe make new ones.
An old friend of mine from my Disney Days, Kay, has posted a forum post about her first return trip to Disneyland Resort Paris since becoming a mother and it makes for interesting reading.
There is such a joy in her post, her delight at rediscovering her Disneyland through the eyes of her daughter – and such disappointment as you’ll see in her post. I recommend it to you and I’d also like to hear your comments and reactions.

A terminally-ill English teenager who refused a heart transplant has been granted her wish - a holiday in Disney World. The story of Hannah Jones, 13, has been one of the big news items in the UK for a couple of weeks now. And I thought I should share it with the community.
Hannah, who suffered heart failure as a result of treatment for leukaemia, will fly to Orlando on December 1 with her family and 39 other seriously ill or disabled children in a trip organised by the charity Caudwell Children.
Adam Goodger who has just joined the community has a Disney Podcast – DisneyBrit - to promote. It is available through iTunes by following the link.
When you’ve had a listen drop a comment on Adam’s forum post to let him know! Feedback and constructive critiques will I am sure be appriciated.
After the Mouse.com is looking for volunteer correspondents based in or around Orlando to help promote, update and champion the site to our Floridian friends.
A while ago Skipper joined the team representing AtM at Disneyland and we are looking to expand our team once more, this time at Walt Disney World.
We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic person to bring After the Mouse to Disney World Cast Members. You’ll need to be or have been a Cast Member, live in or around Orlando and spend some of your leisure time in the Parks and Resorts. Interested?
For those of you who worked at Disneyland Paris prior to the Millennium, I'm sure you'll be as pleased as we are to congratulate former Park Operations Director PY Gerbeau and his wife, news anchor woman Kate Gerbeau have had their baby!
Kate gave birth at the weekend to Chloe, a gorgeous little girl, who weighed in at 7 pounds and ten ounces. Mother and baby are both doing well.
Many congratulations to Kate and PY and welcome to the world to Chloe!
The forums are back in operation, there are still a few tweaks and changes going on, but they are for now just cosmetic. Please feel free to search, discuss and post once more.
We are as always committed to bringing you the best of service at After the Mouse.com, so please accept my apologies for any shortages in the service over the coming weeks. I am working on updating some of the back stage elements of the site and this has some knock on effects to the on stage service. I hope these will be few and of little impact but please accept my apologies in advance for any inconvenience.
"Also, please remember to keep your hands and arms inside the ride vehicle at all times and please, no flash photography."
Many thanks, as always
Tim
Whilst surfing through Flickr.com and found this little homage from a Guest at WDW to a Cast Member called Michael.
Because we got all excited about the bats (see bat photo), Michael, a Disney cast member aka employee, took us on our own walking tour for a couple of hours! He wasn't really supposed to do that, he just wanted to!
It is just a nice way to say thank you to a Cast Member and i thought it needed to be shared with a bigger audience!
The forums are a little limited at the moment, we are working on a couple of upgrades. Thank you for your understanding.
